The client required a web-based solution which could be used for estimating the project cost during the design phase while allowing to compare the actual expenditure during as-built phase. There would need to be two-way integration with Clarity, in order for the tool to obtain project information, estimate the labor, material and overheads costs and then provide the results back to Clarity.
The tool also needed to differentiate when calculating costs for inside and outside plant projects.
